Everything that comes before reading on their own. They start with all 26 letters and their sounds, move on to 40 sight words and 40 simple phonics words like cat and bed, then put it all together across 17 stories that get a little harder each time. By the end, they’re following full conversations, not just single words.

Ages 3 and up. Younger kids spend their time on the letters and songs, while older kids move into sight words and stories. Because the book is leveled, it grows with your child instead of being outgrown in a month.
